My name is Isaiah Kang. I was born in Chicago but was raised in Seoul, South Korea, where I first fell in love with film at a young age. I started working in production in my late teens, where I went many positions when starting out as a freelancer. After initially working in physical production primarily in grip, electric & camera departments, I started experimenting with different facets of Post Production, where my current interests lie. I spent years Transcoding, Color Correcting/Grading, Editing, and Compositing while working closely with professionals across a broad spectrum of jobs with differing budgets and technical or creative requirements.

While employed at Apple and the Los Angeles-based production company Uprising Creative, I was in charge of communicating with clients, editing and quality checking final deliveries, among other things. I found myself working in an environment requiring fast turn around times and last-minute changes, and this has allowed me to become flexible and quick on my feet in order to meet the demands of top-shelf clients and record labels. It was during this time that I had a opportunity to work with a number of notable artist, including Rihanna, Elton John, Will Smith and Maroon 5, among others.
